Following Russia’s footsteps, Tehran has warned that it may also change in nuclear doctrine and develop a bomb if the US sanctions reimposed on Iran.

Before meeting with E3 nations-Britain, France  and Germany, Iran’s foreign minister Abbas Araqchi warned the nations, saying that it may consider a change in its doctrine if the country faces UN sanctions.

While speaking to media persons, Araqchi said that Iran has already knowledge of developing bombs but that is not the country’s priority and it is not part of Iran’s security strategy.

According to a report published in The Guardian, Iran is focused on a nuclear program to develop its energy sector, but threats like UN sanctions could force the nation to reconsider its strategy.

A meeting will be held in Geneva on November 29 between negotiators of Iran and representatives of E3 nations over nuclear programme standoff.  Araqchi said the meeting is crucial and he is looking for a way out if their conditions are met.

A report published by Reuters stated that Iran has shared information with the IAEA, revealing plans to process uranium feedstock in 8 IR-6 centrifuge cascades established at Fordo.

On Wednesday, Iran’s nuclear program chief, Mohammed Islami, stated that the country had begun injecting gas into thousands of advanced centrifuges. The program aims to develop the country’s nuclear industry.
