During a high-level security meeting, Yunus called for transparency in handling the crisis and stressed the need to uphold the rights and safety of all citizens. He also instructed law enforcement agencies to establish a special command center to monitor the situation closely and ensure a swift response to any incidents of violence.

According to The Daily Star, Yunus held a security review meeting with top officials and instructed law enforcement agencies to set up a special command center for nationwide monitoring. He stressed the importance of coordination between police and security forces, urging the use of modern communication tools to ensure swift responses to any violence.
Rising Attacks on Temples
Following Sheikh Hasina’s resignation, attacks on Hindus and other minorities have surged. Temples have been vandalized, homes set ablaze, and people are living in fear. Mounting pressure forced the Yunus government to take action. The meeting was attended by key officials, including Home Affairs Advisor Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, Special Assistant Khuda Bakhsh Chowdhury, Home Secretary Nasimul Ghani, and top officers from Border Guard Bangladesh, Rapid Action Battalion, Dhaka Metropolitan Police, Coast Guard, and Special Branch.
