Big Worry for China, Pakistan as Baloch rebel groups unite to form…., says seizing natural resources will not….

Islamabad: In a significant move, all rebel groups fighting against Pakistan in Balochistan have decided to unite and take on the government and army of Shehbaz Sharif. The decision was taken in a meeting of the Baloch Raji Aajoi Sangar (BRAS). According to the reports, the groups that participated in the meeting include the Baloch Liberation Army, Balochistan Liberation Front, Baloch Republican Guards, Sindhi Liberation Organization, and Sindhudesh Revolutionary Army. These groups have been fighting against the Pakistani army and government for a long time. They have also carried out attacks on Chinese projects.

In a three-day BRAS meeting, the leaders of Balochistan’s rebel groups reportedly strategized their plans against the Pakistani Army. Baloch groups’ decision to fight together could pose a major challenge for Pakistan. Rebel groups have already weakened the Pakistani military’s presence in several regions of Balochistan.

This new decision could further increase the risk of Balochistan separating from Pakistan. In recent times, some Pakistani leaders and experts have also spoken about such a possibility.

‘Seizing Resources Will Not Be Tolerated’

In a stern statement, BRAS has stated that they will ensure that neither China nor any other power, in collaboration with the Pakistani government, can exploit Baloch resources. BRAS discussed in the meeting how to move forward both militarily and diplomatically. Additionally, there was a consensus that the war against the Pakistani army would be fought with greater aggression and strength. BRAS stated that the unity of all groups would make the Baloch struggle for independence a reality.

“The main objective of this process is to transform the Baloch resistance forces from scattered operations into an organised, coordinated and decisive force which will prove to be an invincible wall against the enemy. It was decided in the meeting that further intensity and innovation will be introduced in the war against Pakistan and China,” a statement issued after a three-day meeting said.

Guerrilla operations will be organised according to modern military strategies to inflict greater losses on them, while the combat superiority of BRAS will be further consolidated through the effective use of technology on the battlefield, the statement added.

“To intensify resistance against the looting of Baloch resources, the exploitative projects of Pakistani and Chinese capitalists and the presence of the occupying army, it was decided to intensify the blockade on all important highways of Balochistan to disrupt the logistical, economic, and military interests of the occupying state,” the statement read.
