It is a daily express train service. Tezgam means “fast runner” and it is one of the oldest and popular trains of Pakistan. It was started in 1950s.
The Tezgam Express is a popular express train service connecting Lahore and Multan, covering a distance of approximately 345 kilometers. It offers various accommodation classes, including Economy, AC Standard, AC Business, and AC Sleeper accommodations. The Tezgam express was initially started between Karachi and Peshawar in the 1950s, later shortened to Karachi and Rawalpindi.

It has special curtains, chandeliers, and luxurious carpets apart from many premium amenities.
