Super powerful gun, laser beam… Putin’s close aide reveals details of Russia’s new deadly weapon, its a…

Amid the threat of war with NATO, Russia is going to build a next generation main battle tank which it claims will be better than all its rivals currently present in the world. It will have a super powerful main gun, which will be able to fire shells from a longer distance and with greater accuracy. Apart from this, weapons like laser beam will also be installed in this tank, which will easily destroy enemy drones and low flying objects. The new Russian tank will be able to operate easily in all types of areas like mountains, plains, swamps and can also float on water if needed.

What will the tanks of the future be like?

In a recent interview, an independent board member of Uralvagonzavod [UVZ], shared some details about Russia’s next-generation tank. Uralvagonzavod is a major tank manufacturing company under Russia’s state-owned Rostec Corporation. Speaking as a representative of one of the world’s leading producers of military vehicles, Meshkov emphasised that future tanks will evolve into modular, adaptable machines capable of operating without a crew, while being equipped with increased firepower and advanced multi-layer defense systems.

The board member of the Russian tank company said that the next generation tanks will be more maneuverable and will be able to carry out operations in all areas. Apart from this, the new tanks will have powerful engines, a rotating turret with a powerful main gun, which will be able to fire many types of rounds. Apart from this, the armor of the new tanks will also be stronger than before, which will easily thwart enemy attacks. However, he admitted that the environment in which the tanks will have to work is becoming more dangerous than before.

He said the new generation tanks are threatened by weapons such as anti-tank weapons, artillery, first-person view [FPV] drones and unmanned aerial vehicles. He also said tanks are facing a future where survival requires more than just thick steel plating. To deal with such threats, tank manufacturing companies have decided to equip conventional reactive armor with active defense systems, advanced screening, advanced fire control systems and electronic warfare systems.
