Tel Aviv: Israel, on Saturday, October 26, destroyed many of Iran’s missile production sites with its precision airstrikes. Many units were badly damaged. Apart from this, Iran’s radar and air defense systems were also destroyed. Iran now cannot track any attack in its air space nor it can launch any attack. Iran is very vulnerable to attacks at the moment. Still, Israel fears a strong counterattack from Iran.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the Israeli Air Force has caused great damage to Iran’s defense systems and missile production sites. Netanyahu was addressing the soldiers, their families, and the country at a memorial service for the Israeli soldiers killed in the attack where he thanked the US for its help.
On the other hand, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has threatened that Israel is not able to make a correct assessment of Iran’s military capabilities.
Khamenei wrote on X: “They don’t know anything about Iran. Israel is still not able to properly assess Iran’s strength, the start of the attack and the willpower. We will explain these things to them soon.”
Netanyahu said this was a slightly bigger attack than the Swords of Iron War. “We are doing this in memory of our people who died on October 7 last year. Israel has fought seven enemies simultaneously. Still fighting. Will keep fighting. But will not give up”.
On Saturday, October 26, 2024, Israel responded to Iranian ballistic missile attacks. It also intends to hit Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthi and other resistance groups.
Netanyahu said “We have also eliminated the leaders of these terrorist groups, including Hamas in the south, Hezbollah in the north. Now they are not even fit to be puppets of Iran. Israel wants to tell the whole world that no matter how far away its enemies are, they cannot escape its claws. There is no place we cannot go.”
