Russian President Putin calls for porn’s alternative, says ‘more interesting….’

Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized the need for alternatives to pornographic websites, suggesting the development of something more “interesting and passionate” to capture people’s attention. During an interview with Russia Today, the Russian President discussed the widespread popularity of adult content worldwide, highlighting it as an issue affecting every country. He mentioned that banning such websites is one option but stressed the importance of creating and offering better, more engaging, and compelling alternatives to fill the void that drives people to visit these sites.

“Porn sites are visited all across the world. It is not just an issue for us, but for everyone,” Putin remarked. There can be bans and prohibitions, but one has to always come up with alternatives—something more engaging and more interesting than a porn website to fill the void that causes greater interest,” President Putin said.

‘Have Sex During Work Breaks’

Vladimir Putin made headlines across the world with his ‘Have Sex During Work Breaks’, focusing on Russia’s declining birth rate. As per reports, the Russian President suggested his countrymen to practice as a way to boost the country’s fertility rate.

The remark came following reports of the declining fertility rate of Russia. Notably, approx. 1.5 children per woman, is below than the required 2.1 ratio to maintain the stability of the population in Russia.

The Kremlin has put forth multiple strategies to combat the issue at hand, including offering free fertility check-ups to women aged between 18 and 40 in Moscow. The objective of this move is to assess their reproductive health status.

In response to questions about the recent use of a hypersonic ballistic missile by Russia against Ukraine – a first in history—Putin brushed off claims made by some Western experts that NATO’s air defence mechanism could intercept it.

Putin mocked and challenged the countries that are helping Ukraine that Moscow could give advance notice of a strike on Kyiv with its powerful Oreshnik missile, challenging that if the West could protect the city.
