After this, Romania took precautionary steps and deployed two of its fighter jets.

The Romanian government approved a draft law in December that allowed its military to shoot down foreign drones violating its airspace. Meanwhile, Romania’s defense ministry has stated that it will continue surveillance missions in its airspace and will be prepared to deal with high risks amid Russian attacks on Ukraine.
