The Israeli security forces (IDF) are continuously attacking the Gaza Strip. At least 21 more people have died in Israeli bombing in different parts of Gaza. Last night, the IDF also attacked the largest hospital in southern Gaza, due to which one person died and many others were injured. After these latest attacks, the Gaza war has again taken a terrible form. In fact, Israel has started bombing since last week, unilaterally breaking the ceasefire in January.
At present, this war does not seem to stop because Hamas is not ready to accept the American conditions supporting Israel, while on the other hand Israel and America are not ready to accept Egypt’s proposal. Meanwhile, Jordan, a Muslim country adjacent to Israel, has appealed to stop bombing Gaza and has presented a new proposal to Israel. According to a report by Middle East Eye, Jordan has proposed a plan to expel and deport 3,000 members and fighters of Hamas and its military wing from the Gaza Strip in an attempt to end the ongoing war in Gaza. Let us tell you that US President Donald Trump has also made a similar proposal, which was rejected by many Arab countries.
What’s in Jordan’s proposal?
According to US and Palestinian sources familiar with the plan, those to be deported would include both military and civilian leaders and Hamas members. The Jordanian proposal also calls for the disarmament of Hamas and other resistance factions in Gaza by a set timeline, the report said. This would end Hamas’ rule in the war-torn Gaza Strip and allow the Palestinian Authority to assume control.
Ramzan also caused havoc
Jordan has presented this proposal at a time when Israel started bombing again in the month of Ramadan in violation of the ceasefire agreement made with Hamas in the early morning of March 18 last week . On Tuesday (March 18), Israeli fighter jets carried out dozens of air strikes in Gaza when people were waking up for Sehri in the morning during Ramadan. 400 people, including 200 children, were killed in this attack. According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, in total, more than 50,000 Palestinians have died due to Israeli attacks since October 2023, including about 18,000 children, while more than 113,000 have been injured.
