Islamabad: Pakistan has been hit by severe violence in recent days. Armed extremist groups have carried out major attacks against the Pakistani army and security forces in the country’s Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces. A notable incident this month was the train hijacking in Balochistan, executed by fighters from the separatist organization Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA).
Meanwhile, the BLA has threatened the Pakistan Army and China to withdraw from Balochistan. It has termed China’s CPEC project as illegal occupation and threatened to destroy it. There is now discussion in Pakistan that China is going to deploy its forces in Balochistan to protect its interests.
A Pakistani activist named Ali Akbar mentioned that India’s stance has been proven right today. He said that India has been opposed to CPEC from day one and had warned Pakistan. India had also alerted regarding security concerns, but Pakistan did not listen and is suffering today.
Akbar said that Pakistan has committed great atrocities in Balochistan and that the lava has slowly erupted to the surface. Today Mehrang Baloch has stirred the whole of Pakistan. When a Baloch woman stands up, all Baloch stand behind her. He advised the Pakistani government to wake up and handle the Balochistan issue properly. Pakistan will lose its honour.
He said that if Pakistan starts a war against the Baloch, then sooner or later, India will support them or Iran will come to their aid. Akbar also stated that Pakistan has deceived China as well.
“We lied to them that there is no security issue, we will handle everything. By trusting Pakistan, China made heavy investments, but now they have realized that they are trapped here,” said Akbar adding that the people of Balochistan do not even consider Pakistan their country. In the schools of Balochistan, Pakistan’s national anthem is not even taught.
