From Gilgit to Gwadar… India is playing Great Game in Afghanistan, Pakistan is scared of Ajit Doval due to….

The recent Baloch and Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP) attacks in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have shaken Pakistan to its core. From the Pakistani military to so-called experts, everyone is pointing fingers at India, claiming that the trail of these attacks leads from Kabul to Delhi. One name that is constantly sending shivers down Pakistan’s spine is that of Ajit Doval, India’s National Security Advisor (NSA).

Doval’s name is being discussed with fear and suspicion on Pakistani TV channels, where heated debates claim that he is behind the unrest in Pakistan. During a program on Samaa TV, the anchor accused India of using Afghanistan as a base to destabilize Pakistan. The host alleged that Doval is empowering anti-Pakistan forces and fueling instability in the region.

The anchor further claimed that a “Great Game” is underway, with India allegedly pulling the strings from behind the scenes. According to the anchor, this game stretches from the Taliban and ISIS (Daesh) to areas like Gilgit and Gwadar, with India orchestrating the entire operation to weaken Pakistan.

The ‘great game’ against Pakistan

India’s growing influence in Afghanistan and its improving ties with the Taliban have deeply unsettled Pakistan. With India strengthening its foothold in Kabul, Pakistan now feels increasingly cornered and trapped in a geopolitical quagmire. During a debate on Samaa TV, Pakistani experts expressed frustration over the fact that despite being a Muslim-majority country, Afghanistan embraces India (a Hindu-majority nation), while Pakistan faces resentment.

In the discussion, Syed Fakhar Kakakhel argued that the “Great Game” is linked to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). He claimed that after the US withdrawal from Afghanistan, the region became a free ground for power struggles. According to him, the US aims to contain China, and CPEC is a key target. He highlighted that the 2,600 km-long CPEC route, stretching from Gilgit to Gwadar, is plagued by extremist and separatist attacks, which he believes are orchestrated by forces trying to undermine China’s presence in the region.

During the program, guests questioned the unexpected alliance between the Taliban’s Islamic regime and Modi’s Hindutva government. Fakhar Kakakhel pointed out that despite Bollywood portraying Afghans as bandits, the Taliban still sides with India, which, according to him, has angered ISIS. He claimed that ISIS is now urging its followers to oppose the Taliban, accusing them of working with a Hindu nation.

The show further criticized the Taliban, calling their growing ties with India a “betrayal of their honor.” The panelists questioned why the Taliban was embracing India, despite Bollywood’s negative portrayal of Afghans, challenging their pride and integrity.
